Distresss Marker Halloween Card Class} Wednesday, October 15, 2014 6-8PM

Create five Haunted Cards using Ranger's Distress Markers, the newest papers and stickers from Reminisce, and learn new techniques...

 We will be creating five A2 and larger sized cards during class, most pieces have already been cut for you!

 We will be focusing on coloring stamped images on different types of papers and using water color pens to blend the colors to create water colored effects, faux stitching effect, and more!

Please bring the following to class: a paper trimmer, pointy scissors for fussy cutting, adhesives (pop dots-thick and thin, glue dots,  and glue pen, Silver Spica glitter pen, Black and Burnt Sienna Cat Eye. Also, please bring the following Distress markers to class: Rusty Hinge, Pumice Stone, Dried Marigold, Seeless Preserves, Frayed Burlap, Vintage Photo, Wild Honey, Mustard Seed, Spun Sugar, Tea Dye, Forest Moss.

Create five cards using Ranger's Distress Markers. (Blue without You, It's your day with belly band, friendship, Happy Birthday, and Hold onto your Hat pocket card perfect for holding gift cards).

Learn how to use Distress makers to color stamped images for cards.

 Once you start, you won't want to stop.

 Techniques used in class include: distressing paper with Distress Inks, adding dimension using pop dots, using double sided tape to add glittery tinsel effects, faux stitching, create background color washes, using glitter paper, tissue tape as a border.

We will be using the following markers in class: Spiced Marmalade, Iced Spruce, Tumbled Glass, Shabby Shutters, Weathered Wood, Antique Linen, Old Paper, Vintage Photo, Mowed Lawn, Fired Brick, Faded Jeans, Stormy Sky, Spun Sugar, Victorian Velvet, Scattered Straw, Worn Lipstick, Peacock Feathers, Salty Ocean, Mustard Seed, Forest Moss. You will also need a water color brush, kraft mat, pop dots (large and small), glue dots, and your favorite adhesive. Copic Marker Class-January 11, 2012 6-8pm

Register NOW! Your heart will be in a blissful state when you reigster to create these six Valentine cards using tons of the hottest papers, tools & Copic Markers too! Each class participant will enjoy creating six Valentinve cards designed using My Mind's Eye Valentine paper line "Love Me". This paper line was designed by Iowa's very own Robyn Meierotto! Check out the pretty patterns & colors one ach card in this collection and then register to create your very own set. We'll also be using Ranger's Perfect Pearls Mists & Adirondack Lights ink on embossed papers, Inkadinkadoo stamps with Momento and Ranger Distress Inks, Spica Glitter pens, gorgeous textural ribbons on each card, wooden buttons, twine & lots more plus Sizzix dies & a chance to use the Tim Holtz Vagabond machine too! Almost all fot he paper cutting and stamping of images is already done for you so that during class students can focus on the use of Copic Markers. Each class attendee will receive the following three Ciao Copic Markers: W1, R29, and RV34. (That's a $12 value!) Cost $28/attendee.

Copic Christmas Card Class-October 5, 2011

Join me at The Scrapbooking Studio on October 5, 2011 from 6:30-8:30pm to create five Christmas Cards using Copic markers, Nikki Sivils Gingerbread Land papers & stamps, Tattered Angels (Mist)-a-ble canvas sheet flowers, Just Rite Stamps, Maya Road wooden snowflakes and heart stick pins, Tim Holtz stamp, Stickles & Ranger inks & blender tool, as well as Perfect Pearls Mist, gorgeous ribbons with texture, punched and die cut pieces, and more. Each attendee will receive three Ciao Copic Markers to keep in the following colors ($12 value) R35 Coral, R39 Garnet, and YG63 Pea Green. You'll also receive photos of each card along with written directions and envelopes. "In Bloom" Spring Card Class - The Scrapbooking Studio

Reminisce's Spring line of papers/stickers "In Bloom" is front and center during this two hour card class. Each student will create eight Spring cards for birthdays, celebrations, weddings, saying "Hello" and more (Mother's Day cards can be birthday as well). Class begins at 11am-1pm on Saturday, May 28, 2011 at The Scrapbooking Studio located in Moline, IL. (309) 736-7242 (Call to reserve your seat in class or to order a "to go" kit!). Cost is only $18. Techniques include: stamping with glue pads & Pearl Ex, several uses for Tattered Angel's glimmer mist & glimmer glaze, a chance to play with the newest Sizzix Spring embossing dies, set your butterflies free with the Martha Stewart butterfly punch, create a gathered border with Tim Holtz's tissue tape, make things sparkly with bling, Prima flowers, twine, & Prima baubles (love them!), Maya Road wooden buttons (I wonder what we'll do with them?), Canvas Home Basics Mini-Bags, and lots more. Each participant will also receive an entire 12x12 sheet of Reminisce's "In Bloom" border stickers, tags, photo corners, and phrases (you'll have lots of leftovers to create even more cards after class).
