Easter & Graduation Paper Release from Reminisce

The Graduation papers shimmer with anticipation for the big day! The stickers that are available to accompany this collection offer lots of options for individuals who want to make their own invitations and thank-you's! I especially love the upscale design of several of the papers that allows for other uses such as wedding, and sympathy. The retro Easter colors and bunny motifs are fun to work with! I especially loved the east double sided papers that gave way to numerous options their new papers.

Lucky Me!

I am perhaps the luckiest mom on the planet! I know every mom says that; but I do really feel lucky. Two happy, healthy kids...and here they are in living color: on the newest St. Pat's day papers. These were just released for the CHA show in Anaheim, CA. Reminisce has also just released a line of glitter papers in a rainbow of colors. I slipped three of them in on this layout-love them! Here's a few cards too...

The Newest Lines from Reminisce...

I had a blast working with all of the newest lines from Reminisce. If you are an outdoor enthusiast you'll love the HUGE line of paper that caters to The Great Outdoors. I especially loved the little tine pine cone stickers, tufts of grass, and the wooden alphabet letters.

Reminisce Design Team Submissions 2009

So Exciting: I've been waiting for the Design Team call from Reminisce for quite a while...I have a few projects to submit, a few cards, and a few layouts.

Barnyard Buddies just needed to have a mini-album made out of it for my niece who's about to turn 3! These adorable farmyard friends are fun and inspiring to work with which is why I loved making this chipboard flip album filled with all the usual farm animals: chicks, piglets, cows, sheep, and horses perfect for little hands to hold. I think Sarah is going to love it:

This is a project using small candy jars and the Christmas Time papers released in 2009. Also, some of the Reminisce glitter alpha stickers. I love how shiny they are. I "Believe" I'll have some more candy...

Julianne loves her dog LB about as much as any young girl could! For this layout I used the Signature series dog papers and some of the Valentine line "Be Mine" die cut glitter paper.

The Vacation papers and stickers from the Signature Series was the perfect match for our mini-golf vacation pics!

The Monster line from Reminisce is beyond fun! My kids both "oooed" over it when I showed it to them. I love the huge variety of stickers, and sayings, and the fact that the papers are double sided made it so easy to work with (and economical too!)

August

Wow! The summer is flying by...I haven't posted on the blog for quite some time so here is a quick run down on our activities since June 1. Our family has been all over the mid-west this summer to visit relatives in Indiana (Congrats on your graduation Liz! My finger is almost better almost), family in Wisconsin for July 4th, visited almost every place Laura Ingalls Wilder lived in the Midwest (WI, MN, IA, and SD), and of course our annual trip to visit friends in WI for the "Pool Party". It has been a fun ride!

Mark and I have been on a "get rid of the clutter" rampage this weekend. We've thrown out, reorganized, and cleaned places that haven't seen daylight since we moved into our home in Sept. 2000. Yikes! I think I could have actually measured some of the dust with a yard stick.

We visited our friends the Lincoln's in Springfield last weekend.

We had a great time learning the history of our country's 16th president. The Lincoln Presidential Museum downtown Springfield, IL was well worth our time. As you can see our kids fit right in with the Lincoln's family! I would recommend this trip to anyone with school age children. Some highlights included seeing one of Lincoln's stovetop hats, articles of his clothing, theatrical performances and other interesting facts about Abe Lincoln's life and the time period in which he lived. We also stopped at Lincoln's home in downtown Springfield, the Monument where most of the Lincoln family is buried, and Lincoln's New Salem.
