{Layout} Summer Fresh from Simple Stories

Shelly here with a 12x12 layout I would like to share with you using the Summer Fresh line of papers from Simple Stories (6x6 Pad used here) along with Sizzix Hero Arts Butterflies #3 die/stamp set, and Copic markers.
Have you ever tried to create a layout using  6x6 papers from paper pads? I challenge you to give it a try! The great thing about many of the 6x6 pads (this one especially) is that it contains papers with smaller print papers-perfect for smaller projects, and it also contains several titles, journaling spots, card greetings, and adorable die cuts. I used several of these on this layout.
I also used the Hero Arts die/stamp set Butterflies #3 to create the three butterflies on the layout (they are pop-dotted), I colored them using Copic markers.
Copic Hint: When using Copic markers to color stamped images be sure to use Xpress-It blending paper (it's behind the counter-just ask for it) to stamp the image onto and use Tsukineko's Memento Ink or Distress Ink so that your images don't bleed.
Love this happy paper line! :)
