{Mini-Album} Arch Frame Die

October Afternoon's garden themed papers inspired this garden journal. Create the journal pages by cutting chipboard using a tag die and then spray the chipboard with dye like Dyllusions inks and use a templates to create the background on the chipboard pages.
The page on the right shows the Tim Holtz Arch Frame die with the word "HOPE" cut in the center of it. I cut the shape the right way and the "wrong" way so that the cut out word "Hope" would be double sided. I placed pop dots between the two layers for dimension.
The "&" was cut from the Sizzix Word Play Alpha XL die and the stamp beneath it was cut using the stamp die from the "Movers and Shapers", ATC embellishments throughout were made previously.

I love the October Afternoon garden themed papers that are available and used them as my background for this garden journal.
I also used the Mini Labels Set of Movers and Shapers dies to create small journaling spots on some pages.

Other Products used on this project include: Spark Tinsel American Crafts, 7 Gypsies Acetate ATC cards, BoBunny Noteworthy Journaling tags, Maya Road pins, Tim Holtz lock on front cover, Simple Stories Vintage Bliss Stickers throughout

{Cards} using Tim Holtz Arch Frame die

October Afternoon Farm Girl papers and Maya Road pins, ribbons, and poppy flower paired with the Arch Frame die from Tim Holtz and Sizzix make a great combination when creating cards!
I used the upper portion of the Arch Frame die and a postage stamp die from "Movers and Shapers" to create this A2 size card
I also added a large red wooden button and green gingham bow as embellishments.
I pop dotted the green arch frame die on the A2 size card above and placed a tiny greeting in the stamp shaped "window". Then I added the two red pins tied with netting and embellished with a poppy. I used glue dots to secure it all in place. The woven ribbon is from Maya Road. When using pins be sure to tuck the points behind something so that the card's recipient doesn't get poked!

{Layouts} using Sizzix Dies by Shelly Maxwell

The title on this one page 12x12 layout was created using Sizzix Tim Holtz Arch die with the Sizzix movers and shapers bottle cap inside of the arch. I paired it with a Pebble's banner kit and twine and used Sizzix Word Play Alpha XL for the letters (which is supper easy to use!)
We attended a Cedar Rapids Kernals game in April and I was able to get some great pictures of the kids with the team's mascot. I wanted to carry the baseball theme throughout the layout so I used a red pen to draw faux stitches on punched circles and placed in the center of the die cut "Bottle Cap" openings in the arches.
I used the punched circle bottle caps for embellishments on the lower right corner of the layout for economically add-ons.
Simple Stories papers were used on this layout along with Prima flowers, and our actual game ticket stubs.
In this one page 12x12 layout I also used the Sizzix word play alpha with Sizzix Tim Holtz Arch Frame die. I used the arch die cut paper as part of the title background and the die cut alphas for the title (so quick and inexpensive to use!)
What I love about the XL Word Play die from Sizzix is that it also has numbers on it so I can add dates, etc!
