Our first stop on day one was at the Reminisce booth to say "Hello" to Meagan and Ryan. Pictured L to R are Meagan Moores, Cindy Noesen, Angela Ploegman, and myself. They booth looked great and it was fun to see spooky house, Gingerbread house and other fun projects made by the design team. Unfortunately I deleted them from my camera this AM. Note to self: don't work on the blog before three cups of coffee!
One new hot item I noticed at the show was a lot of altered items and home decor items. This booth featured twine, jute, burlap, Chalk Paper, etc. Again I had several fun photos to share; but...Check them out: Canvas Corp LLC
Sassafras had these fun canvas projects up and they caught my eye. The designer used fabric tissue patterns on the canvas and then painted them. Gotta steal that idea!
OK, I also had some cool pics from the Graphic 45 booth. The people working the booth were dressed up as steampunks. Very cool! Georgious new line of paper arriving soon from them to Sweet Tooth and The Scrapbooking Studio.Cool new tools to check out: try the Cinch from WeRMemoryKeepers if you get a chance, I found it to be easier to use than the Bind-it-All from Zutter because of the wider base and easier to grip handle design. Also, the acrylic stamp maker from Theresa Collins was demoed to me during a class I took. It was well engineered and well thought out. The initial kit arrives with everything you need to get started, later you'll need to buy some comsumable products but not many. Also, saw a quick demo of the Zutter distress it all machine-that was very cool and I'll have to buy one as soon as they arrive in Amy's store: The Scrapbooking Studio in Moline. EK Success had a dust pan and small broom to collect glitter, etc. (static free). Gotta get one of those for sure!
